Exploring tonal and rhythmic variety inside the limited possibilities of one bit sound. One Bit Motion Mix and Concert for Computer Network are two works which are both at the same time a composition, a composition cycle, a variation set, a piece of computer software and an improvisation practice. Concert for Computer Network is a work for a networked laptop ensemble. One Bit Motion Mix is a solo work for laptop or smartphone.

One Bit Motion Mix has been evolving since 2013 and has been performed many times. It has been performed by me at TAPE in Aarhus in August 2016, at World Wide Window in Berlin in May 2018, at Mme Claude in Berlin in April 2017, at Ground Hodinka in Moscow in July 2016 and in other places. By Malgorzata Žurada at the Inter-format Symposium on Rites and Terrabytes, Nida Art Colony, Lithuania in June 2018.

Concert for Computer Network has been performed by Tobias Stenberg and me as a networked laptop duo at Not Null space in Aarhus in April 2019, by Malgorzata Zurada and me at Udstillingstedet Spanien 19c, Aarhus on November 23rd 2019, by Maja Bosnic and me at Dim, Belgrade, on January 8th 2020, and by Malgorzata Zurada, Maja Bosnic and me in a distributed livestream on YouTube on April 21st 2020.

** ATTENTION **: If you are using earphones, keep the volume on the lower side. This is far louder then the normal recordings, due to the fact that the waveform consists of only two values: +maximum and -maximum.
